Custom Gunite Pools

 

Concrete or Gunite pools are the most common type of pool across the United States for a number of reasons. The #1 reason for choosing a Gunite pool over a Vinyl liner or Fiberglass pool is of course the ability to customize your shape, size, depth or color, there are no limitations. We can construct a concrete pool to match anybody’s creative ideas. Popular Concrete Designs include vanishing edge pools, beach entries, pool / spa combos with spillovers, waterfalls, built in bar stools and list goes on and on.

You can also customize the finish on a concrete pool these include (but are not limited to) pebble finishes, quartz finishes, complete tile interior, stone and pretty much any material that is waterproof and can be bonded to concrete.

The beauty of a custom built concrete pool is unsurpassed and can greatly increase the desirability of a home in today’s tough real estate market.

But like everything else there are some negatives to choosing a concrete pool. The first being of course the price, a custom Concrete pool can cost substantially more than a fiberglass or vinyl liner pool. Also a concrete pool can take several months to install because of custom forming and curing time, compared to a fiberglass pool which only take a couple of weeks, start to finish. Inspections and permitting on concrete pools can be a bit more involved compared to their fiberglass and vinyl counterparts.
